Woodcrafting

Since 2022

Founded by Glenn Johnson — husband, father of two, and passionate woodcrafter — this journey began with a simple hobby: hand-whittling spoons using paring-style knives for friends and family. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a deeper passion for handcrafted woodworking and artistic expression.

As his skills evolved, Glenn expanded into carving small bowls, trays, and cutting boards, developing a strong appreciation for both the craft and the character of natural wood. He often sources wood locally from forests, friends’ properties, backyard trees, and even reclaimed stumps from trees removed along neighborhood streets — giving new life to materials that might otherwise go unused.

That curiosity inspired him to collect tools, refine his techniques, and build a makeshift backyard woodshop where his creations continue to come to life.

Today, Glenn’s work has been featured at the Clark County Fair, highlighted on local community Instagram pages, and displayed in neighborhood art galleries — sharing handcrafted pieces that blend functionality, creativity, and craftsmanship.
